FALLS CHURCH VA, September 6, 2013 — The United States Army Intelligence And Security Command has awarded the Army Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence (G2) Information Management/Information Technology $5.6 Million multi-year prime support contract to Kingfisher Systems, Inc. The contract provides an 11 person staff of Subject Matter Experts for services supporting the Army Staff in the Pentagon. The contract includes developing draft policies and directives for the Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence with information sharing policy interpretation, Information Management/Information Technology functionality and technology evaluation, financial analysis planning, and development of draft program cost estimates. Kingfisher Systems Subject Matter Experts provide analysis of integration and interoperation plans for policy, technology, operational, sustainment, and cost impacts. They analyze acquisition programs, projects, and activities, and conduct independent research and analysis. The Subject Matter Experts also provide services to sustain and enhance Deputy Chief of Staff for Intelligence operations and missions, including support and services to TROJAN and the Distributed Common Ground Systems-Army. Kingfisher personnel will provide unbiased recommendations to help improve the services to help control and reduce Army Information Management/Information Technology costs. Kingfisher personnel also provide Information Assurance Security Officer and network certification services to multiple networks located in both the Continental United States and Outside the Continental United States.
