Kingfisher Participates in Adopt-A-Family Holiday Program
For our fifth year running, Team Kingfisher will support our neighbors by collecting donations for Fairfax County’s Adopt-a-Family Holiday Program. The County’s Department of Family Services’ Children, Youth, and Families Division works within the community to help families in need year-round. They began the Adopt-a-Family outreach program in 2006 to accept donations every fall in preparation for the community’s expanded needs during the holidays.
Transportation Maritime Administration Awards Kingfisher Security Assessment and Authorization Support Services Contract
On September 16, 2021, the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Maritime Administration (MARAD) security program awarded Kingfisher Systems, Inc. the Security Assessment and Authorization Support Services contract.

Kingfisher Awarded Security Assessment Contract Supporting Volpe National Transportations Systems Center
On July 29th, 2021, the United States Department of Transportation (USDOT) Office of the Secretary of Transportation Administration’s (OST) Volpe National Transportation Systems Center (Volpe Center) security program awarded Kingfisher Systems, Inc. the Security Assessment and Authorization Support Services contract, valued at approximately $3 million. The Volpe Center awarded the contract under USDOT’s Cybersecurity Information and Program Services (CSIPS) Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA). Kingfisher partnered with CISEVE, Inc., a leader in cybersecurity and security assessments, to support the Volpe Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Inc. Magazine Includes Kingfisher in Their Annual List of Best Workplaces for 2021
Kingfisher Systems, Inc. has been named to Inc. magazine’s annual list of the Best Workplaces for 2021. Hitting newsstands May 18 in the May/June 2021 issue, and as part of a prominent Inc.com feature, the list is the result of a wide-ranging and comprehensive measurement of American companies that have created exceptional workplaces and company culture whether teams are operating in person or remotely. Kingfisher was also named to the list in 2020.
DISA Awards Teleport Integration and Implementation Contract to Kingfisher
On May 17th, 2021, the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) awarded Kingfisher Systems, Inc. the Teleport Program Integration and Implementation (I&I), Logistics, and Configuration Management Support contract, valued at approximately $14 million. DISA awarded the contract under the U.S. General Services Administration Information Technology Professional Multiple Award Schedule. Kingfisher partnered with Octo Consulting LLC, a leader in satellite communications integration, to support DISA at Fort George Meade, Maryland, DISA Headquarters Campus, DISA Field Command locations, and Department of Defense (DoD) Gateways.
Defense Finance and Accounting Service Awards Software Engineering Contract to Kingfisher
On March 22nd, 2021, the Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) awarded the Desktop Management Initiative (DMI) Software Engineering three-year prime contract to Kingfisher Systems, Inc. (Kingfisher) under the Information Technology Enterprise Solutions-3 Services (ITES-3S) Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract vehicle. Kingfisher has provided Desktop Software Engineering support to DFAS since 2014 and DirectViz Solutions will be joining our Team as a subcontractor for the new award.
Team Kingfisher Wins DIA SITE III IDIQ Award
On March 2nd, 2021, the Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA) awarded the Solutions for the Information Technology Enterprise III (SITE III) contract to Kingfisher Systems, Inc. Kingfisher’s teammates include 2HB Inc, Bravo Consulting Group, Cognosante, Cyber Safari LLC, FireEye, LMI, Parsons, SIXGEN, and WESSGRP.
