Herman Hewitt, Jr.

Senior Vice President of Business Development

Herman Hewitt, Jr., a 20-year government services market veteran, has joined Kingfisher Systems, Inc. as the Senior Vice President of Business Development. Mr. Hewitt’s experience includes supporting government mission Information Technology (IT), cyber, and intelligence solutions. He brings years of experience executing strategic growth, in the Federal and Defense markets, as well as other Federal civilian agencies, and Mr. Hewitt will lead Kingfisher Systems, Inc.’s growth strategy. Mr. Hewitt previously served as the Senior Vice President, Business Development at MetroStar Systems.

His leadership and management experience span a variety of disciplines including partner relationship management, growth, business development, finance, delivery operations, and IT.  He has held positions responsible for Profit and Loss (P&L) and customer facing operations and applied extensive expertise along ascending levels of business units including executive, department, division, section, and project management for a broad range of Government and commercial customers.

Chris Harris

Department of Defense and Federal

Chris Harris leads Kingfisher Systems, inc.’s Department of Defense (DoD) and Federal business. He joined Kingfisher Systems, Inc. in April 2010 with more than 16 years of progressive management responsibilities. Prior to joining Kingfisher Systems, he served for over four years as the Chief Technology Officer of iCore Networks, designing and implementing Software as a Service (SaaS) applications and primarily hosted Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) solutions. In 2009, iCore Networks ranked number 29 on the Inc. 500 List of the Fastest Growing Privately Held Companies in the United States (U.S.). He also envisioned and managed the iCore Federal Systems Division from 2006 to 2009. Prior to joining iCore Networks, he spent over eight years at Gray Hawk Systems, culminating his career as the Vice President of Information Systems, where he assisted in the technical phase of the acquisition that was completed with Mantech International Corporation in June 2005. He also served in the U.S. Navy where he designed, installed, and managed the shipboard network architecture, which was used fleet-wide on AEGIS class cruisers. Mr. Harris received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Systems with a focus in Internetworking Technology from Strayer University.

C. Damon Hecker

Intelligence, National Security, and VARYSS Open Source Solution

C. Damon Hecker leads Kingfisher Systems, Inc.’s Intelligence, National Security, and VARYSS Open Source Solution business. He joined Kingfisher Systems, Inc. in 2007 and has held numerous positions within the company, including Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Administrative Officer. Prior to joining Kingfisher, Mr. Hecker was a member of the Defense Intelligence Senior Executive Service (SES) and held the position of Director for Strategy and Transformation for the Department of Defense (DoD) Counterintelligence Field Activity. Prior to this position, he was the Deputy Director and Director of the Strategy and Program Evaluation Office, within the same organization. Mr. Hecker also spent eleven years with the Air Force Office of Special Investigations in a number of positions, including Program Manager for the Computer Investigations and Operations; Operations Officer; Chief, Counterintelligence Branch; Chief, Analytical Center of Excellence; Chief, Plans and Policy Branch, Computer Crime Investigations and Information Operations Division; and Chief, Computer Investigations Intrusion Squad. Mr. Hecker received a Bachelor of Business Administration-Finance from Wichita State University in 1987 and a Masters of Public Administration from Troy State University in Troy, Alabama in 1995. Mr. Hecker is a graduate of the Excellence in Government Fellows program.
