Certification

On March 3, 2017, Kingfisher Systems, Inc.’s Information Systems Security Unit was appraised at Level 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). CMMI is a capability improvement approach that provides organizations with the essential elements of effective processes that ultimately improve their performance. An appraisal at Maturity Level 3 indicates Kingfisher performs at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods.

On August 9, 2018, AFNOR Group, an authorized certification organization for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), awarded ISO 9001:2015 certification to Kingfisher for the design, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance of software solutions. Kingfisher also received the ISO 9001:2015 certification in providing Information Technology Service Management (ITSM), including Information Technology (IT) infrastructure management, cybersecurity, enterprise infrastructure, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephony, multimedia, and IT staffing services. The ISO 9001 standard is based on quality management principles including customer focus, senior management leadership, a process-based approach, and continual process improvement.
